In the Bailey Lab, Hanyu is working to characterize, via mass spectrometry, the effect of diverse lipid compositions on various physical properties of Nanodiscs. He is interested in how the different lipid environments of Nanodiscs affect the populations of membrane proteins that Nanodiscs extract.
